Hungary
Country Name: Hungary
Human Name: Elizaveta Hedevary
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Personality: Ever since Hungary was a little girl, she had always believed in gender equality. Her tom-boyishness is the basis for her entire personality, yet she still manages to keep her femininity no matter how hard she tries to prevent it. Considered one of the "manliest" characters (even more so than Germany himself), she spent most of her life disguised as a male, proving that her hunger for equality was greater than anything. Her personality towards different countries vary on their histories and their relationship. Towards Prussia, due to his intolerable inconsideration since they were children, Hungary is a fierce opponent. For anyone who gets on her bad side, she can be rather vengeful as well as dangerous.
However, despite the fact that she's a fierce and masculine female, she has a more gentle, caring side. Despite her dislike of Prussia, she does not want him to die. The country's "intolerable" rudeness would be greatly missed. She would be willing to protect him as well as her other enemies (though not without a bit of teasing afterwards) as well as put her own life on the line for those who are weaker than her. Among friends, she can be considered a motherly or sisterly figure (which is where her femininity comes into play) and is kind and considerate towards them.
In a dangerous situation, Hungary is a down and dirty type of girl. She's skilled in fighting, and isn't afraid of taking a hit. Her rashness makes her seem like she relies on physical strength, which, though she doesn't realize it, she still lacks (though for a woman of her size, is still quite impressive). This can put her in danger when it comes to fighting things that are much larger than her, though when something she truly cares about is on the line, such as her friends or Burzenland, she tends to perform better.
On the other side of the scale, a good situation is a relaxation time for her. She's much more calm and cheerful. This is often when she shows her feminine side the most. Days like these are when she enjoys dressing Little Italy up in adorable clothes as well as dress up herself (but only outside the battlefield). When she is alone, she tends to weigh whether it was a good idea to move in with Austria. She always considers losing her strength and other abilities that she'd had before to simply gain acceptance as a woman. Her fear of not being able to care for herself often comes up in these quiet periods, forcing her to consider returning to the "warrior princess" that she once was.
Weapon: Hungary herself relies on two different weapons. She is proficient in both a bow as well as a sword, having used them since her early childhood fighting the Ottoman Empire. However, the only weapon she tends to have handy is her frying pan, which does a surprising amount of damage when she manages to hit her enemy right. Of course, if she were consciously going into battle, the sword would be her first weapon of choice.

Strengths:
- Speed
Given her small size and constant training, Hungary is quite quick. Her speed allows her to dodge attacks easier and deliver her own blow. - Strength (as compared to other women)
While it may not always compare well with the strength of male countries, she's rather strong for a woman. - Misleading Physique
Hungary, being a woman in man's clothing, may seem weak and fragile, allowing the opponent to underestimate her. While she'd usually hate the differentiation, she understands that her femininity can be use for her instead of against her at times. - Temper
This is something that could go in both the flaws and strenghts categories. While she may have a temper, this allows her to have adrenaline rushes during a battle and boosting both her strength and speed. - Protectiveness
The fear of her friends and others getting hurt often leads to her own power boost. If she feels the need to protect, then she will do it until she dies.
Weaknesses:
- Temper
Once again, something that works as either a benefit or a hindrance. If her temper gets the best of her, it may not be as helpful as one would think, but instead cloud her head and prevent her from making the proper attacks during battle or thinking clearly both in and out. - Size
While Hungary isn't afraid to take a hit, she's still unable to take too hard of a blow before it does damage on her small body. - Prideful
Hungary doesn't like to admit when she's in trouble. This could be due to Prussia's verbal attacks as children. She finds that admitting defeat only makes others think that her being a woman is why she might have lost. - Time Lapse
The fact that so much time has gone by since she'd handled her weapons, she might have lost her touch a little. While it may only take some time to get used to again, she still has to survive long enough to get readjusted. - Rash
Considering her feel for the need to prove herself as a woman, Hungary can get quite hasty. Her hastiness can often get her into trouble unless somebody's around to keep her out of it.
Sample Post:
"One last little bow and... there!" Hungary exclaimed, pulling her hands back and smiling down at the child. Chibi Italy looked adorable in his little dress. He didn't mind wearing the maid outfit, and she enjoyed the help around Austria's house. Italy looked up at her, his little hat almost falling off of his head.
"Ve?" he said, and she gave him a warm smile. She gave him a pat on the head and a sent him on his way out. When she stood straight back up, she let out a small sigh and glanced towards the window. It was a beautiful day outside. One that was perfect for hunting, yet she was stuck inside doing nothing as usual. She returned back to her housekeeping, glancing up every few seconds to see the beautiful landscape outside.j
Before long, Hungary's white apron was covered in dirt and grease from scrubbing and cooking. The highlight of my life. Instead of fighting other countries, I am fighting mud and mice. Her ashen brown hair tumbled over her shoulders as she reached down to pick up the dust pan when she heard a noise coming from the open, glass sliding doors behind her. She lifted her skirts and peeked behind her, just in time to see footsteps turn the corner.
Grabbing onto the frying pan, Hungary stood up and turned, angrily towards whatever was at the door. Slowly, she drifted it's direction, waiting for it to turn around the corner. When it didn't, she leaned against the wall and listened. There was breathing and her eyes narrowed. Taking one step and swinging the frying pan around the corner, she heard a loud PANG!
A platinum blonde haired nation fell at her feet and she took a step back. "I'm so sorry! Are you alr..." she started, frantic. "Oh. It's just you. Were you peeping again!" she snapped, about to bring the pan back down on Prussia's head, but before she did, he mumbled something into the dirt. "What?" she asked, bending over.
"Mmm... mm hmm mm hmm..." he muttered. She knelt down and held her hand to her ear. "I JUST WANTED TO SEE IF YOU WANTED TO GO HUNTING!" he practically yelled. Hungary jumped back and slammed the pan into his side.
"Don't ever yell in my ear," she said, standing up to walk inside, closing the glass door behind her.
